LOCATION

St Thomas is a fast-track curtain wall, windows, and doors package delivered in Reading, combining bespoke design with precision installation. Bamboo Facade Installations were appointed to manufacture and install a Kawneer curtain wall system, supported by a detailed site survey and tailored design solutions to allow for the sensitive reinstatement of the building’s crucifix. The scope included bespoke flashings and an element of off-site installation into Thorpe concrete panels, reducing on-site programme risk and improving quality control. Delivered over a three-week programme at a value of £80k, the project required full-time site management and logistics coordination, demonstrating Bamboo’s ability to deliver technically complex façade solutions within accelerated programmes.
